AURA 2.0 Emergency Response System
|
The Cornell AURA 2.0 Emergency Response System provides both wired and wireless support for the Nurse Call System, including Alert Display, Notifications, and a Reporting function. The Alert Display shows the patients or residents information such as his or her room number or name and how long it has been since the patient of resident has pushed the nurse call button.
The Cornell AURA 2.0 Emergency Response System can be integrated with the Cornell 4000 Series Tone/Visual Nurse Call system as well. Once an emergency situation is detected (whether through wireless peripherals, Series 4000 system or knock-off alarm), the system alerts the caregiver through a variety of notifications, including written notification via email, to pagers, and/or to cell phones via SMS (Short Message Service for cellular phone text messaging). In addition, audio notification can be sent to a cell, wireless or desk telephone, including Toshiba telephones using the standard SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) technology. Notifications can be customized to meet specific needs or goals.

| The Cornell 4000 Series provides a variety of visual signals to caregivers when a resident is in need of assistance. Visual indication can be provided in several areas including the associated Bedside Station, Room Corridor Lamp, Zone Lamp, the Nurses Master Annunciator, Duty Stations, and Staff Stations. Simultaneously, an electronic tone will sound at the Nurses Master, as well as at all Duty and Staff Stations. The call can be cancelled only at the point of origination. The Cornell 4000 series is capable of indicating several call levels including bedside calls, emergency call (toilet station), and priority call (code blue or smoke detector). |

Series 4200 Audio Rescue Assistance

|
The Cornell 4200 Series Audio Rescue Assistance System is a time proven Rescue Assistance System that has received wide industry acceptance. The 4200 includes voice communication, which is initiated by simply depressing the call station button transmitting the signal to a central annunciator panel and optional access to a public telephone line. A single pulse tone and a flashing light signals the caller that the alarm has been received. The control station can then talk to the caller. The caller need not take any other action to communicate with the control station, an important feature when a caller is under stress in an emergency situation. |
